README.md

This is much of the instructions from Linux from Scratch, 10.1 translated to script form. I have taken some liberties with the effort:

  1. Build host is expected to be an ubuntu 20.04 machine that can be dirtied up by our scripts. It must possess a second disk.
  2. Everything runs as root, we control this other ways.

To use:

  1. Create an ubuntu 20.04 VM with two disks. Install ubuntu on the first and leave the second alone.
  2. sudo make INSTALL_DISK=/dev/sdb or whatever that second disk resolves to. It will prompt for confirmation before partitioning the disk, after that it's all downhill. :)
  3. To enter the chroot: sudo make enter-chroot as root. To make a user, sudo make create-user.

Nothing else works yet.

Don't ask me for help! This is based on this book, Linux From Scratch 10.1. Go read it!
